Who was your first best friend? How did you become friends?

So my first best friends, or people I would consider my first best friends, was a group of folks that I met when I transferred my elementary school, which is I believe the third grade I went to the school. And it would be Melisa, Carol, Robert and Fabian. They were my best friend's Melissa and Carol, I was closer to. Something really fun about us, even being so young, we had different conversations and I would say the average 8 or nine-year-old would have. I am United Methodist, religiously I was raised United Methodist because that was the only church in our town that was bilingual. My father did not know much Spanish my mother day know much English so that was the church we went to. And Melissa was/is Catholic and Carol was, I think maybe still is, I’m not sure, was Jehovah Witness. We spent a lot of time talking about religion and the differences within our faiths. Something I really remember very clearly is Melisa’s grandmother had passed away and my father had passed away three years before that, and she had an experience. I remember us talking about it and being fascinated by that. So we were a little bit of odd balls and not afraid to talk about things that were on the outskirts. Robert, he's also a fantastic person, super charismatic as well. Fabian was always such a sweetheart and he had his eagerness to be included and also was a little bit of a clown and he was really funny too. I remember thinking that Carol and Melisa were both really smart, they are both in gifted classes and I would admire them a lot. We were a band of misfits, but always in a good regards. It was always, we were kind of folks. We kind of did our own thing and I would say we weren't necessarily part of any cliche or any click, we were kind of like the oddballs. We were a little funky a little weird and we are coming from different points of views and and meshed really well together. I would say those were my first best friends. We can came together cuz we enjoyed each other's company and honestly I joined their group because they had known each other since kindergarten and so I joined them and they were really kind to open their hearts to me and I appreciate that.
