What have your parents told you about your birth that was unusual?

Question sourced from: 63 Of The Best Memoir Writing Prompts To Stoke Your Ideas, by: Barrie Davenport

I think the one thing that was kind of strange or different was I was born face up which pretty much, for those who are not familiar about vaginal births generally babies face down headfirst, I was at head first, face up and supposedly I broke my nose my mom's pelvic bone. Giving me a kind of more of a smushed in face. But I ended up having kind of a little bit of a smashed in nose my whole childhood and so that's how I got my nickname which is Chata. Chata means kind of smashed or flat generally, it's also or could be a derogatory term referencing a woman being flat-chested, but generally it's like this idea of smushed or compressed. So that's my nickname and that's where I got it from. Was being born face up and my nose got smushed.
